- What is Integrative Medicine?
Integrative Medicine is the combination of traditional “Western” medicine with “alternative” therapies such as acupuncture, nutritional supplementation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, massage therapy and more. Integrative therapies allow us to treat the “Whole” pet by offering a variety of more natural treatment options.

- Who are good candidates for Integrative therapies?
All pets can benefit from some level of Integrative care. While many guardians seek therapies both traditional and integrative for their pets during times of illness many of the integrative therapies we have available can go a long way toward maintaining wellness and preventing disease.

- Are there any forms I should fill out before my first appointment?
Yes! We have some short forms for New Clients and/or a New Cat or New Dog that you can fill out before your first appointment with us to save some time. Simply click HERE to get to them!

- What is included in all anesthetic procedures?

- What is a surgery day like for my pet?

- Any tips for giving my cat a pill?

- What is your Payment Policy?
Our payment policy is very similar to other veterinary hospitals in the area – payment is expected at the time service and/or product is provided. We accept cash, checks, credit cards (except American Express) and even Care Credit. To learn more about Care Credit check out www.carecredit.com

- Do you provide Dental HealthCare for dogs and cats?
We’re so glad you asked! We DO offer a wide array of Dental HealthCare options! From training in home dental care to advanced medical and surgical Dental HealthCare we can do it all for your pet. In fact, Dr. Adams and Dr. Brockmann have Advanced Dental HealthCare training and we’re so excited to use their skills to keep your pets healthy we have a Year-Round. - Do you do International Health Certificates for international travel?

- Will Dr. Silver still be available at BNAH?
As of November, 2012 Dr. Silver is no longer seeing patients at Boulder’s Natural Animal Hospital.

- What will happen to my pet’s medical records?
All your pet’s medical records and history will remain on premises at Boulder’s Natural Animal. Dr. Silver has taken impeccable notes on your animals throughout the years so even if you aren’t able to see him Drs Adams and Brockmann will be able to immediately move forward from where Dr. Silver may have left off.
Of course, if you decide that we can no longer offer you what you need and decide to move on to another hospital please let us know – we’d be happy to transfer any of your records wherever you’d like us to. We are here to help in any way we can.

- Will Drs. Adams, and Brockmann be able to take care of my pets in the same way Dr. Silver has?
While no one could replace Dr. Silver we (and he) believe that the new doctor/owners at Boulder’s Natural Animal are of the highest skill and can provide you with many of the great medical and medicinal options you’re used to – and maybe more!
Dr. Adams and Dr. Brockmann have both been trained in one of the best veterinary programs in the world at Colorado State University. Both are Certified Veterinary Acupuncturists and have deep interests in a wide variety of Integrative Therapies including nutritional supplementation, some traditional Chinese herbal remedies, low level laser therapy, dietary and nutritional counseling and many more.

- Will I still be able to get the same medications and supplements I am used to?
All the medications and supplements you currently use for you pets and have gotten in the past from Boulder’s Natural Animal will still be available.

- Will things change?
Some things will change at Boulder’s Natural Animal – but we assure you that all changes will come from a desire to offer you more. More importantly, changes will come with your input.
