At Boulder’s Natural Animal, it is our goal to keep your four-legged friend so healthy that you many only need to see us once a year for your pet’s annual wellness exam. Just like humans, every animal is different and it may take more than one visit to discover exactly what your pet needs to live a healthy and happy life. Once the doctor’s at Boulder’s Natural Animal have had the oppurtunity to examine your animal they will be able to determine how often your animal needs to have attentive veterinary care.

Some guardians like to bring their pets in monthly or seasonally for acupuncture “tune-ups” in which the benefits that were previously achieved (usually with hard work and the addition of good nutrition) are reinforced with the season-specific or complaint-specific acupuncture treatment. Older animals, animals with serious diseases such as allergies or cancer as well as pets suffering from  paralysis or severe pain may benefit from more frequent visits  in order to achieve adequate quality of life.

Normal follow-up exams and annual wellness exams are scheduled for 25-minute periods. If you feel your pet’s problem(s) need more time, please inform the person scheduling you so that more time may be allotted in our schedule. You will be charged according to the amount of additional time your pet requires. Ask us for an estimate for that amount.
